Polishing truck roof forum.
Having owned own an suv it hate correcting polishing the roof however i personally do it to my own vehicles if anything it makes it easier to apply the protection.
Now i am having trouble on how to work on the roof of a van.
Would it be necessary to use ultimate polish on the roof.
But i do feel guilty about that.
I cannot stand in the bed because i have a hard bed cover on the bed.

No oxidation rust etc.
I have a couple different step stools two step and three steep ones for polishing roofs.
Short of standing up in the bed to wash and dry the roof what are some other options.
Like to know also how to wax in the middle.
It s not gigantic by any means just a basic 4x4 f 150 but i m used to washing much smaller vehicles.
But i agree i normally will do the roof first because it s the part i dread doing the most.
Lol also its a silver van.
I use a ladder to stand on and also use a brush with a handle.
I do polish the roof i have done my trucks and do my wife s suv but i m so short that i even need a step stool to do the roof of my sho.
Hi there i want to clean my fr expedition roof rack it is about 10 years old and is the plain aluminium rack no coating painting.
On my truck i use a two step stool and to get the center of the roof i just lean forward against the side windows.
It is just dull with the normal wear and tear that you d expect from a roof rack which spent most of it s life close to the sea.
Lastly i don t polish or do correction as often as i will do the rest of the car.
Can i stand on the roof.
Am i looking for 100 ill be happy with 30 70 and since most of my trucks and suvs were lifted anything else is near impossible without a truss system.

It s a 4 hour process for me for a mostly defect free vehicle and i m always beat at the end.
This is an 03 honda odyssey.
These are better and safer than a ladder which can tip sideways if you lean too far.
Any tips or suggestions.
This works fine cleaning but now i need to dry the top and i cannot reach the middle.
I ve been a car guy for several years now so washing all the real estate on this is going to be a new experience for me.
