I have not been able to find online anyone else that can explain this particular issue and which part i need to fix. 2001 jeep grand cherokee laredo. The panel on the drivers side will not work at all for the door or the windows. All windows work properly.

To lock the car all doors operate with key fob or manually pressing the lock button on the driver side panel but the driver door does not respond. You say that one of the windows works at least somewhat so that would seem to indicate the power to the windows should be ok since power is usually shared by the windows from a common source through a circuit breaker that may be in the panel under the hood along with the fuse for the door locks which i would suspect should be in the same panel.
